Tukify turns a WooCommerce store into one with a live-feeling sales assistant that never clocks off. Shoppers type questions in plain language, or upload a photo, and Tukify searches the actual catalog to suggest real, in-stock products, answer store-specific questions, and walk the shopper toward checkout without ever leaving the page.
It suits store owners who want to cut down on abandoned searches and unanswered questions outside business hours.
The plugin is bring-your-own-key: the site owner connects an account with an AI provider such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok, or Groq, and Tukify uses that provider to understand shopper messages and generate replies.
All requests run server-side in PHP, so the API key stays out of the browser, and product data used for search is stored in the site’s own database. Results appear inside a chat widget on the storefront, with product cards, images, and add-to-cart controls shown directly in the conversation.

Key Features of Tukify
Conversational product search. Shoppers describe what they want in everyday language and Tukify matches by meaning rather than exact keywords, so a phrase like warm clothes for winter surfaces jackets and sweaters. Natural-language filters for price, color, size, brand, stock, and category are translated into real WooCommerce queries.
Visual search by photo. A shopper can upload a picture and Tukify identifies the product type before matching similar items in the catalog. A photo showing multiple items, such as an outfit or a room, is broken down so each item is searched individually.
In-chat product browsing and checkout. Product cards show image, price, stock, and an add-to-cart button, and tapping a product opens a detail popup with an image gallery, variations, and a quantity stepper. Shoppers can add items to their cart and follow an optional guided checkout without leaving the chat.
Cart-aware recommendations. Tukify suggests complementary products based on what is already sitting in the shopper’s cart, aiming to add genuinely relevant items rather than random upsells.
Clarifying questions and comparisons. When a request is too vague, Tukify asks a short follow-up with tappable quick replies instead of returning weak results. It can also lay out a side-by-side comparison of two or three products with a short summary of the trade-offs.
Policy, FAQ, and order lookups. The assistant answers shipping, returns, and warranty questions using the store’s own pages and any custom questions and answers entered by the owner. Shoppers can also check an order’s status securely by providing the order number and billing email.
Cart and checkout abandonment help. When a shopper stalls on the cart or checkout page or looks ready to leave, Tukify offers help with the issues that commonly stall a sale, such as shipping cost, sizing, or payment. The prompt is dismissible and appears no more than once per visit.
Choice of AI provider and widgets. Store owners pick a chat provider and an embedding provider independently, and choose the model for each. The assistant can appear as a global floating widget on any theme, plus optional Elementor widgets for chat, search, and recommendations.
How to Install Tukify
Step 1: Install and activate. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Tukify, click Install Now, then Activate. WooCommerce must already be installed and active.
Step 2: Get an API key. Sign up with a supported AI provider, such as Google Gemini or Groq, both of which offer free tiers, or OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI, and generate an API key from that provider’s console.
Step 3: Connect the provider. Go to Tukify > Settings, choose your chat and embedding providers, paste in your API key, and click Test connection to confirm it works.
Step 4: Index the catalog. From the Tukify dashboard, click Reindex all products so the plugin can embed your catalog in the background, ready for search and chat.
Step 5: Show the assistant. Turn on the floating chat widget in Settings, and optionally add the Tukify Elementor widgets for chat, search, or recommendations to any page.
Good to Know About Tukify
According to the plugin’s documentation, Tukify requires WooCommerce to be active and the cURL-capable server environment typical of WordPress hosting, along with an API key from at least one supported AI provider. If Claude, Grok, or Groq is chosen for chat, a Gemini or OpenAI key is also needed for embeddings, since those providers do not offer an embeddings endpoint.
Elementor is optional and only needed for its widgets. On data handling, the developer notes that API keys are stored server-side and masked in the admin, product embeddings live in the site’s own database, and deleting the plugin removes its settings and tables unless the site owner enables the option to retain that data beforehand.
