How to Install Zaffro

Step 2: Open the settings panel. Go to ZaffroAI in the admin sidebar to access the plugin’s settings.
Step 3: Start using the chat widget. The chat widget is active on the storefront right after activation, since the Free plan works without entering any API key.
Step 4: Set negotiation limits. In the settings panel, under Negotiation limits, set the maximum discount percentage the assistant is allowed to offer.
Step 5: Customize the assistant’s behavior. Go to ZaffroAI > System Prompt to write instructions in plain language or start from one of the included industry templates.

Zaffro requires WooCommerce to be installed, since it relies on WooCommerce for product data, coupons, and checkout links. According to the plugin’s documentation, customer personal details such as name, email, and address are masked before any chat data is sent to Zaffro’s cloud service, and a data export and deletion endpoint is available through the WordPress Privacy API.
The developer also notes that the chat widget loads asynchronously, so it does not affect page load, and an AI request only occurs once a visitor opens the chat and sends a message.
