Kagivo is an automation plugin for WordPress site owners who want fresh blog content published on a recurring schedule without writing each post by hand. It builds campaigns around chosen keywords and topics, then generates articles automatically on a daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, publishing them as drafts or live posts depending on how each campaign is configured.
Content generation runs through OpenAI, using an API key the site owner supplies and controls. That key is encrypted and stored on the WordPress server itself, and is only transmitted to OpenAI when a campaign generates an article, carrying details such as the topic, keywords, and the chosen voice and length settings.
Generated articles are returned directly into the WordPress dashboard as posts, ready for review or publication under the campaign’s chosen mode.

Key Features of Kagivo
Scheduled content campaigns. Set up campaigns that generate articles automatically on a daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly cadence, removing the need to manually trigger each new post.
Keyword-based topic rotation. Campaigns rotate through configured keywords and topics, helping spread coverage across related subjects instead of repeating the same angle every time.
Site voice configuration. Define a tone, writing style, and target audience so generated articles stay consistent with how the site normally communicates.
Configurable length and publishing mode. Each campaign can specify article word count, whether posts are saved as drafts or published automatically, and which author they are attributed to.
Encrypted credential storage. API keys are stored using AES-256-GCM encryption directly on the WordPress server and are never kept in plain text or sent anywhere besides the chosen AI provider.
Guided onboarding wizard. A setup wizard walks through connecting an API key and configuring the first campaign, making initial setup straightforward for new users.

Good to Know About Kagivo
According to the plugin’s documentation, Kagivo requires a site owner to supply an API key from OpenAI, since generation does not work without one. The developer notes that keys are encrypted on the WordPress server and only transmitted to the selected AI provider during content generation, never to Kagivo’s own servers.
The documentation also specifies that the plugin requires the PHP version used for encryption support, and that Multisite installations are not officially supported in this release.
