AutoCrafterAI is a content generation plugin for WordPress site owners who want to draft blog posts, landing page copy, and image alt text without leaving wp-admin. It suits bloggers who want publish-ready drafts rather than plain text dumps, SEO-focused agencies producing content at scale, ecommerce stores with large image libraries, and developers who want to wire WordPress into an AI workflow.
Rather than pasting AI output into a text box, it builds the result directly as native widgets inside the page builder already in use on the site.
The plugin connects to an AI provider chosen and paid for by the site owner: OpenAI’s GPT models, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini, each requiring its own API key entered on the plugin’s settings page. A Demo Mode is also available for trying the workflow without any key, and Gemini offers a free tier that does not require a credit card.
Generated drafts, alt text, and inline edits appear directly inside the WordPress dashboard, in the Generator page, the Media Library, or the block and page builder editors, with content sent straight from the site to the chosen provider rather than through any intermediary server.

Key Features of AutoCrafterAI
Chat-based content generator. Describe the desired post in plain English on the Generator page and receive a full draft with a suggested title and structured HTML body. Generation history is autosaved, and a token-cost meter tracks usage against the connected provider.
Native page builder output. Generated drafts open as real editable widgets in Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or Beaver Builder, rather than plain text or shortcode wrappers. Elementor also gets a dedicated sidebar panel for inline AI edits on text widgets.
AI alt text for the Media Library. A vision-capable AI model reads uploaded images and writes accessibility-friendly alt text under 160 characters. Alt text can be generated one image at a time from a Media Library row or in bulk from the dedicated Alt Text page.
Automatic schema markup. Every generated post is fitted with Article schema, FAQPage schema when a FAQ section is written, and HowTo schema for step-based content, printed automatically to the site head for search visibility.
AEO scoring for AI search. The built-in AEO Engine scores content from 0 to 100 on the signals that answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews look for when selecting sources, and suggests edits to improve that score.
AI internal linking suggestions. The plugin scans a site’s published posts and recommends link candidates for the draft being written, complete with suggested anchor text and a short explanation of why each link fits.
Inline editing in the block and Elementor editors. Paragraph, heading, list, and quote blocks in the Block Editor, along with Heading, Text Editor, and Button widgets in Elementor, get Improve, Shorten, Extend, Translate, and Add CTA actions that can be undone with Ctrl+Z.
WooCommerce product descriptions. A metabox on the product edit screen reads a product’s featured image and title, then writes both a short and a long description using a vision-capable AI model.

Good to Know About AutoCrafterAI
According to the plugin’s documentation, API keys are stored in the WordPress database and masked in the interface, and no content or key data passes through any server operated by the plugin itself; calls go directly from the site to the chosen provider over HTTPS.
The developer notes that uninstalling AutoCrafterAI removes its custom tables, options, transients, cron events, and per-user counters, while posts already created remain in place as ordinary WordPress content. The plugin’s code is distributed under the GPL v2 or later license, so it can be inspected or modified freely.
