Cubixsol AI Voice & Chat Assistant brings a voice and text based sales and support agent to WordPress and WooCommerce sites.
Visitors can speak into a microphone or type into a chat box, and the assistant answers using information drawn from the site itself, which makes it useful for store owners who want to handle product questions and common support queries without staffing a live chat around the clock.
The plugin indexes WooCommerce products, pages, posts, custom post types, navigation menus and a business profile you fill in, then uses retrieval-augmented generation so answers are grounded in that indexed content rather than general knowledge. Generating answers requires an API key from an AI provider: Google Gemini is needed for building the search index itself, while Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude can be selected to write the actual replies.
Spoken replies can use the browser’s built-in speech synthesis for free, or optionally ElevenLabs voices if that API key is added. Visitors interact through a chat widget on the front end, and site owners manage indexing, languages and behavior from the Cubixsol AI Assistant dashboard in wp-admin.

Key Features of Cubixsol AI Voice & Chat Assistant
Choice of AI engine. Site owners can select Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude to generate answers, or enter a custom model ID from a supported provider. This allows picking an engine based on preference, without being locked to a single provider.
Live WooCommerce catalog search. Visitors can ask about categories, price ranges, specific products or SKUs, and the assistant pulls the answer straight from the current catalog. Because this runs live, new products and price changes are reflected immediately without needing a re-index.
Smart product answers. Questions about best sellers, top rated items, sales, new arrivals or customer feedback are answered using real ratings, reviews, sale prices and stock status. Stock information follows the store’s existing WooCommerce display settings.
Indexed knowledge base with automatic sync. A built-in scanner indexes products, pages, posts, custom post types, menus and business details into a vector knowledge base. Content is re-indexed automatically when published or updated, removed when unpublished, and a daily background sync catches anything missed.
Voice and text input. Visitors can tap a microphone to speak using the browser’s built-in speech recognition, or type their question instead. Both input methods are processed through the same pipeline, so either option works equally well.
Multilingual support. Up to 54 languages can be made available to visitors, with a configurable default language, automatic matching to the visitor’s browser language, and the option to hide the language selector. Right-to-left languages display correctly.
Quick reply buttons and widget controls. Editable suggestion buttons appear under the greeting to guide visitors, with follow-up suggestions appearing after shopping related answers. Launcher style, position, wording and which pages show the widget can all be adjusted in the widget settings.
Exclusions and admin dashboard. Specific URL paths, content types, menus, FAQs and policy pages can be excluded from indexing, and a database inspector lets site owners view, search or delete indexed content chunks. Persona templates and custom instructions are available to shape how the assistant responds.

Good to Know About Cubixsol AI Voice & Chat Assistant
According to the plugin’s documentation, a Google Gemini API key is always required because the knowledge base search index is built with Gemini’s embedding model, even if OpenAI or Claude is chosen to write answers. One Gemini key covers both embeddings and indexing, so no separate embedding key is needed.
The developer notes that password-protected, private and draft content is never indexed, protected post meta is skipped, and conversations are not stored on the site, though questions and matching content are sent to the selected AI provider. The public chat endpoint is nonce-protected and rate-limited per visitor to guard against excessive API usage, and the widget continues working on cached pages by refreshing expired security tokens automatically.
