OZY AI Agent adds an AI-powered chatbot to a WordPress site that automatically reads through pages, posts, products, and menus so it can answer visitor questions about the business without any manual scripting.
It suits site owners who want a knowledgeable assistant on their site without committing to a recurring SaaS subscription, since it works with API keys entered directly by the owner.
The plugin can connect to five AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic’s Claude, Groq, Google Gemini, and Mistral. Site owners supply their own API key for at least one provider under OZY AI Agent > AI Provider, and can set a priority order so the plugin falls back to another provider if the first one fails; model IDs are entered as plain text, so a newly released model can be used right away.
Chat responses appear in a widget on the front end of the site, placed either as a floating launcher, a popup, or an inline panel embedded on a page.
Because the agent works from real site content plus any business details the owner adds, replies stay tied to the actual services and products offered, rather than generic answers.

Key Features of OZY AI Agent
Multi-provider AI with fallback. Connects to OpenAI, Claude, Groq, Gemini, and Mistral, with an editable model ID for each and a configurable priority order. If the top provider fails, the plugin automatically tries the next one in line.
Automatic website content reading. Scans WordPress pages, posts, products, custom post types, and navigation menus using built-in WordPress functions, then lists exactly what it indexed. This content is cached and fed into the agent’s responses so answers reflect the actual site.
Business knowledge base. Site owners can add custom descriptions, services, FAQs, and policies that supplement the automatically scanned content, giving the agent more precise business context to draw on.
Local analytics dashboard. Tracks conversation totals, daily and monthly counts, average response time, success rate, provider usage, and the most common visitor questions. The data stays in the site’s own database and can be cleared at any time.
Drag-and-drop placement everywhere. A native element is available for Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Avada (Fusion Builder), WPBakery, and classic widget areas, all rendering the same design. A shortcode is also available for other builders, supporting inline, button, or floating-widget modes.
Full appearance customization. Colors for the accent, panel background, text, visitor bubbles, and launcher can be set individually, along with corner radius and screen offset, viewable in a live preview. Light and dark base themes and a custom agent icon upload are also available.
Voice input and text-to-speech. Visitors can speak to the agent using voice input transcribed through Groq Whisper, and the agent can read its replies back aloud after a voice message.
Visitor engagement controls. The chat greets visitors based on their local time, prompts idle visitors after a short delay, offers tappable quick-question suggestions, and keeps recent chat history in the visitor’s browser across page loads. Rate limiting can also cap requests per visitor and per site.
How to Install OZY AI Agent
Step 1: Install and activate. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for OZY AI Agent, click Install Now, then Activate.
Step 2: Add an API key. Go to OZY AI Agent > AI Provider and enter at least one API key along with the model ID to use, such as a free Groq key.
Step 3: Describe the business. Open the AI Agent section and add details about the business, its services, FAQs, and policies to guide the agent’s answers.
Step 4: Index the site content. Run the scan under URL Index so the plugin reads through pages, posts, products, and menus.
Step 5: Choose placement and appearance. Visit Widget Settings to pick colors, placement mode, and whether the widget loads on every page, then add the OZY AI Agent block, widget, or shortcode where the chat should appear.
Good to Know About OZY AI Agent
According to the plugin’s FAQ, it was previously named OZY Chat Assistant, and existing settings carry over automatically after the rename. The plugin requires only one working API key from a supported provider, since it tries them in a configured order with automatic fallback. Streaming replies depend on server support for flush functions, but the widget falls back to non-streaming mode if that is unavailable.
The developer notes that the widget uses fixed positioning and scoped styling, so conflicts with themes or other plugins are uncommon. Content reading relies on built-in WordPress functions rather than external requests, and each site installation is configured independently, which the developer notes suits agencies managing multiple client sites.
