Innova GEO AI Indexer helps WordPress site owners prepare their content to be found, cited, and understood by generative search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral, and Kimi.
It adds structured GEO fields to posts, outputs Schema markup, and manages a site-level llms.txt file, making it useful for publishers who want their pages to be readable and quotable by AI systems rather than only ranked by traditional search.
The AI generation part works on a bring-your-own-key basis: the site owner pastes an API key from one of five supported providers, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Mistral, or Kimi (Moonshot), into the plugin settings, and the plugin calls that provider directly to generate content for specific fields.
No account or subscription with the plugin itself is required, and no data passes through the developer’s own servers. Generated text appears directly inside the post editor metabox, next to a Generate button for each eligible field.

Key Features of Innova GEO AI Indexer
Core GEO fields per post. Each post gets five dedicated fields: Quick Answer, FAQ, Direct Definition, Reading Time, and Author Override. These give AI systems clear, structured content to pull from when summarizing or citing a page.
Schema JSON-LD output. The plugin builds a combined structured data graph covering Organization, BreadcrumbList, and content types such as Article, HowTo, Product, Review, Recipe, or Event, plus an optional FAQ block. All of it is output as a single graph in the page head, without needing separate plugins.
Dynamic llms.txt file. A site-wide llms.txt file is generated automatically, combining pillar content, a contact email, and topical clusters. This gives AI crawlers a structured summary of the site’s content and focus areas.
Single-field AI generation. Next to each AI-generable field, a Generate button sends the post title and content to the chosen provider using its own tool-use format and returns a suggested value. This lets an owner fill in fields quickly without writing everything by hand.
Automatic model discovery. After saving and testing a provider key, the plugin fetches the current list of available models directly from that provider and turns the model field into a searchable dropdown. This avoids having to track exact model names as providers update them.
Readable error messages. When a provider call fails, the plugin translates the technical error into a plain-language explanation, while still keeping the raw detail available in a tooltip for troubleshooting.
Encrypted key storage and audit log. API keys are encrypted at rest using Sodium secretbox, derived from the site’s authentication key, so they are not stored in plain text. Every AI generation is also recorded in a dedicated log table for later review.
Optional IndexNow notifications. When turned on, publishing or updating a post with a filled Quick Answer field can notify search endpoints like Bing, Yandex, Naver, or Seznam. Each notification only includes the page URL, the site host, and a verification key, never the post content, and can be switched off at any time.
How to Install Innova GEO AI Indexer
Step 1: Install and activate. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Innova GEO AI Indexer, click Install Now, then Activate.
Step 2: Enable pretty permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and choose any option other than Plain, since this is required for the llms.txt file to work.
Step 3: Set up site data. Open Innova GEO AI Indexer > Dati sito and fill in details such as the organization, publisher, topical clusters, and pillar content used to build the llms.txt file.
Step 4: Add a provider API key. To use AI generation, go to Innova GEO AI Indexer > Impostazioni > API Keys, paste a key from a supported provider, and click Test to verify it and load the available models.
Step 5: Fill in GEO fields. On any post, complete the GEO fields manually or click the Generate button next to a field to have the AI suggest content for it.
Good to Know About Innova GEO AI Indexer
The developer notes that no account or license is needed to use the plugin fully; AI generation only requires pasting a personal API key from a supported provider, which is billed directly by that provider. Stored keys are encrypted using Sodium secretbox with a key derived from the site’s authentication key, meaning saved keys stop working if that authentication key changes.
The plugin does not load JavaScript on the public-facing site: GEO output consists of static HTML and JSON-LD, with JavaScript limited to the admin screens. If the llms.txt file returns a 404 error, the documentation suggests checking that pretty permalinks and the publishing toggle are enabled, or reactivating the plugin to refresh rewrite rules.
