How to Install Interpost AI Internal Links
Step 1: Install and activate. In the dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Interpost AI Internal Links, then click Install Now and Activate.
Step 2: Add your Gemini API key. Go to Settings > Interpost and enter a Google Gemini API key so the plugin can connect to the embedding and generative APIs.
Step 3: Index existing posts. From the same settings page, click Index All Posts to generate embeddings for previously published content.
Step 4: Use the editor sidebar. Open any post in the block editor, click Find Related Posts in the Interpost sidebar, and review the suggested links before inserting them with one click.

According to the plugin’s documentation, it currently supports standard published posts only, not pages or custom post types, and requires the block editor since it does not work with the Classic Editor. The developer notes that a Gemini API key’s free tier is generally enough for most blogs, though very large sites or heavy re-indexing could exceed free quotas, with any resulting costs handled directly between the site owner and Google.
Removing the plugin leaves the embedding index intact by default, since rebuilding it requires a new API call per post; site owners who want the index and key erased can select that option on the settings page before deleting the plugin.
