ASB Smart Flow replaces the cramped default WordPress admin screen with a fast, thumb-friendly mobile interface, reachable from a dedicated mobile URL on any phone.
It is built for site owners and editors who write or manage posts from a phone and want an app-like experience rather than squeezing the desktop dashboard onto a small screen. Alongside the mobile interface, it adds an AI-assisted writing workflow and passkey login, all included in a single free build.
The AI authoring tools work on a bring-your-own-key basis with OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude: the site owner supplies an API key for the chosen provider, and requests go directly from the WordPress site to that provider’s servers when the Generate button is pressed.
No request passes through any third-party server belonging to the plugin’s developer, and nothing is sent anywhere unless a key has been added and used. The AI tools appear in the mobile composer’s AI tab, in a dedicated AI Writer panel on the desktop post editor, and on an AI tab inside wp-admin, and are limited to administrators unless access is delegated to other roles.

Key Features of ASB Smart Flow
Thumb-friendly mobile dashboard. A bottom tab bar gives one-handed access to Home, New Post, Media, and Settings, turning the admin into a native-feeling app on a phone screen.
AI writing and editing tools. Using a self-supplied API key, the plugin can generate, rewrite, summarize, proofread, and suggest titles for posts. A partial revision mode lets the AI propose paragraph-by-paragraph edits that the writer can accept or skip individually, leaving unapproved text untouched.
Voice dictation. Tapping the microphone in the composer transcribes speech into the text at the cursor, and the AI can then clean up the transcript into tidier prose when a key is configured.
Quick Post templates and snippets. Fill-in-the-blank post templates with writing-style presets and quick instructions speed up drafting, while an emoji tray and reusable text snippets like signatures or hashtags can be inserted with a single tap.
Mobile media uploading and galleries. The uploader supports camera capture and multi-select with on-device resizing before upload to save bandwidth. Shortcodes let images and multi-column galleries be placed at the cursor and adjusted for width and caption from a dedicated panel.
Passkey login. Signing in to the mobile admin or wp-login.php can be done with Face ID, fingerprint, Touch ID, or Windows Hello on devices with a built-in authenticator, with a fallback to the normal WordPress password elsewhere.
Offline draft protection. The composer keeps a local backup of unsaved edits on the device and offers to restore them after a dropped connection or an accidental close, reducing the risk of lost work.
ASB plugin family integration. When sibling ASB plugins are active, their per-post delivery options, such as push notifications, calendar display, or LINE notifications, appear together in a Delivery and Integrations panel on the new-post screen.
How to Install ASB Smart Flow
Step 1: Install and activate. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for ASB Smart Flow, click Install Now, then Activate.
Step 2: Set basic preferences. Open ASB Smart Flow in the wp-admin sidebar to choose a site accent color and decide whether mobile visitors to wp-admin should be redirected automatically into the mobile interface.
Step 3: Find the mobile URL. Check the Settings > General tab for a QR code and downloadable image that link directly to the mobile admin address, making it easy to open on a phone.
Step 4: Visit the mobile admin. On a phone, browse to the site’s mobile-admin address to load the mobile dashboard; it requires HTTPS to function.
Step 5: Connect an AI provider. Add an API key for OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude on the AI tab, or rely on a key saved under Settings > Connectors if using a WordPress version that supports it, then start using Generate in the composer or the AI Writer panel.

According to the plugin’s documentation, the mobile admin is available to any logged-in user with the edit_posts capability, though this can be adjusted with a filter. The developer notes that the mobile admin URL cannot currently be changed, so site owners should avoid creating a page with a conflicting slug.
HTTPS is required, since the plugin will not render on insecure origins and passkey login needs a secure context. API keys are encrypted using a value derived from the site’s own authentication secret, decrypted only in memory when needed, and removed automatically if the plugin is uninstalled. The plugin also loads its own translation files and supports per-user language settings.
