NPATI Content Automation

Updated 3 min read

NPATI Content Automation brings together marketplace listing creation, social media scheduling, and editorial planning for WordPress articles in a single admin workspace.

It suits site owners who sell products through the NPATI marketplace, manage social publishing for several destinations, or plan a schedule of articles, and who want to handle all three from inside WordPress rather than switching between separate tools.

The plugin connects a WordPress site to an NPATI account, which powers the marketplace listings, video and Shorts review, and the NPATI Hub scheduling features.

Writing an article can be done manually, or an administrator can optionally connect an OpenAI API key to generate draft content and social copy; that key is entered and stored locally in WordPress and is sent directly to OpenAI only when the connection is tested or an AI feature is used. Generated text and planning data appear inside the plugin’s Content, Market, and Hub screens in the WordPress dashboard.

Key Features of NPATI Content Automation

Marketplace listing creation. Administrators can build NPATI marketplace listings directly in WordPress with a title, category, description, price, and supported details. Up to six product photos can be uploaded and previewed in a live carousel, and photos can be labeled by color for easier organization.

Product video support. Listings can include a product video of up to 2 gigabytes, with a thumbnail generated automatically. Photos and video can be combined, or a larger video-first layout can be used instead.

Video and Shorts review. The plugin displays videos and Shorts from the connected NPATI profile and lets administrators review clips and reply to viewer comments without leaving WordPress.

Social scheduling through NPATI Hub. NPATI Hub connects supported publishing destinations to WordPress, with an overview of upcoming and recent activity, a calendar of scheduled and published posts, and a Connections view listing linked services. Posts can be prepared, scheduled, and edited for the connected destinations.

Editorial planning for articles. The Content workspace lets administrators create article tasks with a title, description, keywords, category, and publication date and time, then search, filter, edit, reschedule, or delete them. An editorial calendar shows both scheduled and published articles.

Bulk task import. Up to 5,000 article tasks can be imported at once from a CSV or XLSX file of up to 5 megabytes, with a preview of the rows before they are saved. This suits site owners planning large batches of content in advance.

Security and publishing controls. Remote publishing from NPATI Hub is disabled by default, so incoming content stays as drafts unless an administrator explicitly allows signed publishing commands. A dedicated Security page reports HTTPS status, connection status, webhook signature support, and recent API and connection activity.

Good to Know About NPATI Content Automation

According to the plugin’s documentation, an NPATI account is required for marketplace and Hub features, while an OpenAI API key is only needed for optional AI-assisted writing. The developer notes that social media access tokens are kept in the NPATI Hub Token Vault and never stored in WordPress, and that the OpenAI key is encrypted and stored locally, sent to OpenAI only when tested or used.

Deactivating the plugin keeps existing settings, mappings, posts, listings, and remote publications intact. The plugin’s documentation also confirms that integrations with Yoast and WooCommerce are optional and load only when those plugins are present.
