Writrex Lite is a WordPress plugin for site owners who need local SEO landing pages and blog posts without hiring a writer for every town and service combination. How to Install Writrex Lite
Step 1: Install the plugin. From the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Writrex Lite, then click Install Now followed by Activate.
Step 2: Run the setup wizard. The setup wizard opens automatically after activation. Paste in your Google Gemini API key, enter your business details and pick where images should come from.
Step 3: Create your first local page. Go to Writrex > Pages Automator, enter a service and a location, and generate the page.
Step 4: Try Ask Writrex. Open Writrex > Ask Writrex, or use the floating Ask Writrex button available on admin screens, and ask it to review your site’s SEO.
Good to Know About Writrex Lite
According to the plugin’s documentation, a Google Gemini API key is required, and its free tier covers text generation, while Gemini’s own image models need billing enabled on that key. Image generation can instead run through Pollinations or free stock photo sources without any payment.
The developer notes that Writrex Lite works with Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO, or with none installed, and that it functions alongside Elementor, Divi and WPBakery, adapting its suggested edits so builder layouts are not broken.
No data is sent to the developer’s own servers: content and site details go only to Google Gemini and to any image provider explicitly enabled. Uninstalling leaves generated content and settings in place unless a delete-on-uninstall option is turned on beforehand.
