ViroBuilder

Updated 3 min read

ViroBuilder is an AI-driven page builder for WordPress that turns a single sentence describing a business into a finished landing page.

Instead of choosing a template and dragging elements into place, a site owner types something like a description of their business and watches the plugin assemble layout, written copy, images, and SEO markup for that specific business. It suits small business owners, freelancers, and agencies who want a page produced quickly without building it section by section.

Page design and the chat-based editing rely on Anthropic’s Claude models, while images are generated through Google’s Gemini image models; both require an API key from the respective provider, entered on the plugin’s settings page through a setup wizard that tests each connection.

A Pexels key can also be added to supply stock photos as a fallback when AI image generation isn’t used. Generated pages appear in a live preview inside the WordPress editor as they are written, and the finished result is saved as standard WordPress page content.

Key Features of ViroBuilder

Live AI page generation. Describing a business in one sentence prompts the AI to design layout, copy, and structure in a real-time preview, so the page appears as it is being written rather than after a wait.

Built-in demo gallery. Ten complete demo pages covering different business types open directly in the real editor without any setup, letting a site owner explore the editing experience before adding API keys.

AI-generated images. Bespoke photos are created for the business through the Gemini API and saved into the media library, with Pexels stock photos available as a fallback if image generation isn’t used.

Chat and click editing. Any text, image, or link can be changed by clicking it directly, while larger changes can be requested in plain language through a chat panel, with edits applying in seconds.

Regenerate with a new layout. A single click can rebuild the same page using a different layout style, useful for comparing options without starting over.

Automatic version history. The last ten versions of a page are saved automatically and can be restored from within the editor, giving a way to undo unwanted changes.

Built-in SEO markup. Each generated page includes a meta description, Open Graph tags, Twitter Cards, and structured data, without needing a separate SEO plugin for these basics.

Lead-capture forms. Forms placed on generated pages send submissions to a dashboard and by email, giving a quick view of new leads without extra setup.

How to Install ViroBuilder

Step 1: Install the plugin. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for ViroBuilder, then click Install Now followed by Activate.

Step 2: Open AI Settings. Go to ViroBuilder > AI Settings in the admin menu to begin connecting the AI providers the plugin uses.

Step 3: Add an Anthropic API key. Enter an API key from the Anthropic console; this powers the page design and chat-based editing.

Step 4: Add a Google AI API key. Enter an API key from Google AI Studio so the plugin can generate bespoke images for the pages it creates.

Step 5: Add a Pexels key (optional). Add a free Pexels API key if stock photos are wanted as a fallback when AI image generation isn’t used.

Step 6: Create a page. Go to ViroBuilder > Create New Page, describe the business, optionally choose a brand color, and click Design my page to generate it.

Good to Know About ViroBuilder

According to the plugin’s documentation, ViroBuilder works with any theme, since generated pages are self-contained documents that render independently of the active theme’s header, footer, or sidebar. The developer notes that it does not require or conflict with a separate page builder, and that deactivating the plugin leaves published pages intact as standard HTML content, though further chat-based editing then requires reactivating it.

Data entered for a page is sent directly from the site to Anthropic and, where used, Pexels, with API keys stored only in the site’s own database and no analytics or telemetry collected by the developer.
