Nexus AI SEO is built for site owners and writers who want a complete SEO workflow without leaving the WordPress post editor. Instead of handling titles, meta descriptions, alt text, internal links, and readability scores one at a time, the plugin generates all of it from a single panel and inserts the results directly into the post being edited.
The plugin does not tie you to one AI vendor. You supply your own API key from Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, or Groq, and can switch providers per module or per post. Each provider offers a live model picker with a refresh option that pulls the current list of available models directly from that provider’s API.
AI processing happens in the WordPress admin area, and generated content lands in the post editor and in the meta fields of your existing SEO plugin, such as Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress, or Squirrly.

Key Features of Nexus AI SEO
Full SEO field panel. A single meta box below the post editor generates SEO titles, slugs, meta descriptions, featured snippet text, focus and long-tail keywords, key takeaways, and an FAQ block with schema markup. Results are written straight into the fields of your existing SEO plugin, so sitemaps and schema keep working as before.
Internal and external linking. The plugin locates suitable anchor phrases already present in your article and wraps them in internal links automatically. For external links it flags claims that need a source and drafts anchor text, while leaving the destination URL for you to add.
SEO grader and critique. Every post can be scored on a 0-100 scale with a category breakdown covering title, meta, content, readability, and structure. It also shows a search-intent label, content-gap notes compared to ranking pages, and a written critique with specific fixes, rerunnable at any time.
Image Planter workflow. The plugin scans each subheading and writes descriptive alt text, a caption, and an image prompt for it. Images can then be generated from that prompt using supported Gemini image models, uploaded through the standard Media Picker, or copied for use in another image tool, with everything saved to the Media Library with alt text attached.
AI Writer with presets and tones. Full articles or outlines can be generated using a choice of writing presets and tones, plus a custom brand persona so output matches your voice. Two topic-suggestion tools turn a single keyword into a list of topic ideas or long-tail phrases to write toward.
AI Editor for existing content. Selected passages can be tightened, expanded, rewritten, translated, or corrected for tone and grammar, with a plain-language explanation of each edit shown before it runs. A version history lets you undo or redo any AI-written change.
Compatible with existing SEO plugins. Nexus does not replace your current SEO plugin; it writes its generated fields directly into that plugin’s own meta keys, including Open Graph and Twitter Card fields for social copy.
Editable prompts and translation ready. Every prompt sent to the AI can be edited from the settings page, covering things like output language, link limits, and FAQ count. The interface is also prepared for translation, with English and Indonesian included.

Good to Know About Nexus AI SEO
According to the plugin’s FAQ, only one API key from a supported provider is required to begin, and additional providers can be added later for comparison. The developer notes that AI requests are triggered only by direct user action, never automatically or on a schedule, and that all processing takes place in the admin area, keeping the plugin compatible with page caching.
The documentation also states that malformed AI responses are detected and repaired automatically where possible, with a clear error shown otherwise, and that the plugin works alongside the Block Editor, the Classic Editor, and existing SEO plugins without conflict.
