How to Install Feedback Mango
Step 1: Install and activate. From your dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Feedback Mango, click Install Now, then Activate.
Step 2: Connect your account. Go to Settings > Feedback Mango and click Connect to Feedback Mango. A window opens where you sign in or create an account and approve the connection, which also adds your site’s domain to the allowed embed list.
Step 3: Add a feedback block. Add the Feedback Mango block to a page, or the floating button block to your footer template for a site-wide launcher, then pick a study for it from the dropdown.
Step 4: Set up WooCommerce feedback (optional). Add the block to the Order Confirmation template, or inside the Cart and Checkout block areas, to run a post-purchase feedback study.
Step 5: Review responses. Visit your Feedback Mango dashboard to see visitor answers organized into themes and insights.
Good to Know About Feedback Mango
The plugin requires a Feedback Mango account, since it acts purely as an interface to that hosted service and stores no responses in the WordPress database. According to the documentation, the widget sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking, though it caches display settings and a record of prior answers in the visitor’s browser storage, and Tools > Privacy includes suggested wording for a site’s privacy policy.
Each site on a multisite network connects and stores settings separately, and network-wide activation is not yet supported. The developer notes that all plugin code is unminified and hand-written, with no build step, while the widget script itself is served directly from the Feedback Mango service.
