How to Install AI Engine

Step 3: Add the key to AI Engine. Go to Meow Apps > AI Engine in the dashboard and enter the API key under Settings so the plugin can connect to the provider.
Step 4: Enable Workspace if wanted. Turn on Workspace under AI Engine > Settings > Modules to get a full-screen AI chat in wp-admin, which also appears as a new entry in the admin menu.

Good to Know About AI Engine
According to the plugin’s documentation, a 429 quota error during use comes from the AI provider’s API rather than from AI Engine itself, and is resolved by adjusting billing limits in the provider account and clearing any caching plugin’s stored responses.
The developer notes that language support for chatbots depends on the underlying AI model, so quality varies and is best checked directly in the Playground.
The documentation also states that AI Engine stores its data only on the site’s own server, leaving data protection the site owner’s responsibility, and advises excluding the plugin from caching or firewall plugins such as SiteGround Optimizer or Ninja Firewall to avoid conflicts.
