Irozon AI Assistant adds a chat widget to a WordPress site that connects directly to an AI provider chosen by the site owner.
It suits owners who want a chat assistant for visitors without paying a subscription to a middleman, since the plugin itself is free and the connected provider bills usage directly at its own rates. It works as a general site assistant and can optionally answer questions about WooCommerce products.
The assistant is powered by an API key the site owner supplies from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or Google Gemini. The plugin detects which current models that provider supports and suggests one to use.
Every request runs server-side: a visitor’s message, recent conversation history, and any selected Site Knowledge or product data are sent to the chosen provider to generate a reply, which then streams back into the chat widget on the site.

Key Features of Irozon AI Assistant
Choice of AI provider. Connect OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini using an API key already held or created for that provider. The plugin discovers which current models the provider offers and recommends one, so there is no need to track model names manually.
Server-side key handling. The API key is stored server-side, never appears in the browser, is never returned in a REST response, and is never written to a log. The assistant can only generate text replies and cannot execute code, run database queries, or take any other action on the site.
Site Knowledge from public pages. The site owner selects which published pages the assistant may reference when answering questions, with the plugin suggesting a starting set such as About, Contact, FAQ, Shipping, and Returns. Drafts, private posts, and password-protected content are never eligible, regardless of selection.
WooCommerce product answers. When WooCommerce is active and product assistance is turned on, the assistant can answer questions about published products, including price, category, and stock status. It reads only public catalog data and has no access to orders, customers, or payment information.
Streaming replies with stop control. Replies appear incrementally as they are generated, and visitors can interrupt a reply in progress with a Stop control. This keeps the chat feeling responsive rather than waiting for a full answer to load.
Widget appearance settings. The accent color, position, launcher label, and welcome message can all be set to match the site’s existing design. The widget can be shown or hidden at any time without losing its configuration.

Good to Know About Irozon AI Assistant
According to the plugin’s FAQ, an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google is required before the chat widget can be enabled, and that provider bills usage directly rather than through the plugin developer. The developer notes that WooCommerce is optional: the assistant works fully without it, and product assistance only activates once WooCommerce is active and explicitly turned on.
Conversation content is kept in the visitor’s browser rather than the site database. Deactivating the plugin preserves settings, while deleting it through Plugins > Delete removes stored settings, any database-held key, and cached data; a key set via wp-config.php or an environment variable is never stored in the database.
